The Balm Balm Fragrance Free Face Balm basically replaces a moisturiser in your skin care routine, but feels somewhat different to classic creams and lotions. I would describe it as somewhere between a lotion and gel in initial texture and this thins out between warm fingers. You then simply apply as you would a moisturiser but you don’t need much to get decent coverage. I was very impressed with the Balm Balm Fragrance Free Face Balm, after initial doubts on seeing the nature and texture of the product. It actually feels lovely when on the skin and does a great job of moisturising. Whilst aimed at facial care, the balm is also great for areas of dry skin on other parts of the body. Because you don’t need to use much to be effective, the 30ml tube also lasts for ages, making the price of about £6 pretty good value.
If you prefer scented products, the Balm Balm Face Balm is also available in Rose Geranium and Tea Tree versions, although I havn’t tried these out myself. Check out the Balm Balm website at www.balmbalm.com for more information.
