Eco Kettle Energy Saving Kettle

Everyone is now looking to save energy and money and what better way than by reducing the amount of water we boil every time we make a brew. The ECO Kettle energy saving kettle is designed to do just that. It's estimated that, on average, we boil twice the volume of water needed every time we use the kettle. This means twice as much energy, twice as much time, and with a 3kW kettle this equates to wasting the energy of around 50 light bulbs.

With the ECO Kettle, you can fill the kettle to the brim and simply press the valve button in the lid to release a specific amount of water (1 to 8 cups worth) into the boiling chamber. This easy, simple method of accurately ensuring that you boil only the water that you need. After carefully reading the instructions we filled the kettle and tested the ECO Kettle energy saving kettle on 1, 2, 3 and 4 cup measures and the results are below on not only the time taken but the amount of energy used.

We found it easy to use and if you fill the central reservoir to the maximum you could if only making one cup at a time effectively only have to refill the reservoir after 8 cups. The kettle is very well designed and robust although we felt the base could have been a bit sturdier. The packaging was recyclable but the box not made from recycled paper. Overall we highly rated the Eco Kettle.
