Energy Saving Kettle - Kenwood JK450 Energy Sense Kettle

The new Energy Saving Kettle the Kenwood Energy Sense is for everyone who wants to enjoy a cuppa and save energy. The 1.7 litre clear jug kettle has a unique flat element which offers an energy saving of up to 35% but still has wattage of 3kW allowing it to boil water very quickly.

We were immediately impressed by the Kenwood Energy Sense kettles design with its clear see through body so you can actually see the water boiling. But what makes this Energy Saving Kettle stand out is its ability to boil from one cup to 9 cups which means you can accurately measure the exact water quantity every time, which prevents you boiling too much water which is often the case with conventional kettles.

The angled graduations used when you tilt the kettle to fill through the spout, allow you to accurately measure the exact water quantity. We tested the wattage and time taken to boil the kettle which are shown in the table below.

This Kenwood Energy Sense kettle comes packaged in recycled cardboard with a reusable cotton bag which ensures it is eco friendly from a recycling perspective as well.
