The Green & Black’s Organic Mini Eggs come in Milk Chocolate, Dark 70% Praline Filled and Butterscotch flavours and we tested the first two varieties. They are Soil Association certified and are presented in pretty 100g boxes making lovely Easter gifts.
As a particular fan of milk chocolate I tried the Milk Chocolate Mini Eggs first. The chocolate is lovely and smooth and whilst these Mini Eggs aren’t as sweet as some milk chocolate, they are moreish without being sickly. The Dark 70% Praline Filled Mini Eggs are also smooth with a delicious soft milk chocolate hazelnut praline centre. I sometimes find dark chocolate a little bitter, although this is personal taste, but the praline takes the edge off this.
The cardboard boxes in which the Mini Eggs are presented are made from FSC paper sources and are fully recyclable. The foil around the eggs may be recyclable in some areas. At about £3 per 100g packet, these Green & Black’s Organic Mini Eggs are more expensive than similar products but have the added bonus of being organic.
Thanks to Green & Black’s for sending us a sample of these products.
