Green Living Guide 2nd Edition

The Green Living Guide 2nd Edition is a Magbook published by Dennis Publishing Ltd in the UK. It is an almost 200 page magazine-style publication providing information for consumers on a wide range of green topics.

I have not read the 1st Edition of this publication (called ‘Go Green the Easy Way’) but was impressed with this latest publication. It is divided into six chapters which include Home & Garden, Work & Office, Food & Drink and Transport & Motoring. These sections allow the reader to browse through sections of particular interest rather than having to read the publication from cover to cover to find the information s/he is looking for. There is also a useful directory of the companies featured in the publication at the end, which makes it easy to remind yourself of those businesses you are interested in finding out more about.

As well as more detailed articles, many sub-sections of the Magbook also contain handy top tip-style pages which are great for at-a-glance information. The publication is clearly aimed at consumers who may not have, or want, a deep technical knowledge of green issues, but who will undoubtedly glean valuable ideas from the Green Living Guide on how to go about making changes in their everyday lives. I would particularly recommend this as a great publication if you want to get started on going green.

The Green Living Guide is printed on FSC certified paper. Its RRP is £7.99, which I feel is good value given the amount of information within the publication.
