Jurawine’s Cremant du Jura Blanc is from Domaine Andre and Mireille Tissot and is produced organically and bio-dynamically. It is a Brut sparkling white wine.
I don’t profess to be any sort of wine expert, but have been known to enjoy a glass or two, so felt well placed enough to give this wine a try along with my family! Despite its Brut description, we didn’t find this sparkling wine to be too dry, but rather pleasantly refreshing. It was a smooth wine with no sharpness and an enjoyable subtle flavour. As you would expect this is perhaps best enjoyed as an aperitif or possibly with dessert.
Bottles are 75cl, at 12.5% vol and you should chill well and serve at 4°- 8°C. Can be laid down for 2 - 5 years.
At £14.65 a bottle this isn’t overpriced for a sparkling white wine. Naturally the glass bottle is recyclable.
Thanks to Jurawine for providing us with a sample of this product.
