Organix offer a wide range of products suitable for babies from as young as four months. These include baby rice, purees, savoury pots and finger foods. Ingredients are organic with no added processed sugars, thickeners or unnecessary fillers as part of their ‘no junk promise’.
I (or rather my little one) never tried the weaning food suitable from four months but we did buy some of the finger foods. Rice cakes are a great snack or meal accompaniment for babies, as they are easily ‘gummed’, and the Organix rice cakes, which come in plain, apple and orange flavours, don’t contain any salt. In fact, the plain ones are just rice! We also tried the Organic Crunchy Rings (sweetcorn) and the Organic Crunchy Sticks (Carrot) which were firm favourites. My child and I would definitely recommend all the baby products we tried!
Rice cakes are priced at under £1 for 50g, which is a little more expensive than comparable products, and the finger foods at just over 40p for 20g. These finger foods are fairly unique and are an inexpensive snack (particularly bearing in mind that a baby will only eat a couple of rings or sticks at one go). The packets may be tricky to recycle.
