Organix range of food for Toddlers

The Organix range of food for toddlers is made from organic ingredients with a ‘no junk promise’. There is wide range of snacks along with some dessert products.

My little one has tried a large number of the Organix snacks, all of which have gone down well. The savoury snacks, of which we have tried the Carrot Sticks, Noughts & Crosses (Saucy Tomato) and Curly Puffs (Cheese & Herb), are suitable from 12 months and are a fantastic alternative to the usual salty crisp-type snacks. These contain just a tiny bit of sea salt. You might need a wet wipe on hand, however, to get rid of sticky fingers!

Firm favourites are also many of the Organix biscuits, in particular the Gingerbread Men! These, along with the Moon, Alphabet and Animal Biscuits we’ve bought, use fruit juice rather than sugar to sweeten so are great for a treat without you child filling up on sugary food. All are delicious and the alphabet biscuits are particularly good when on the move as they come in mini bags.

The Organix cereal bars come in a variety of flavours (Apple & Orange, Blackcurrant, Raspberry & Apple, Carrot Cake and Cocoa & Raisin) all of which don’t contain sugar but are sweet, moist and tasty. A little crumbly perhaps, but then so are many things in the hands of toddlers! As well as cereal bars, Organix also offer Date & Apple and Banana & Date Fruit Bars made simply with dried fruit and a little oat flour. These count as a portion of fruit so are a great healthy snack and come individually wrapped.

The savoury snacks start at about 30p for 15g, biscuits at the equivalent of about 90p for 100g, cereal bars are a little under £2 for a pack of six and fruit bars a similar price for a pack of seven. Many of these don’t have directly comparable products but the biscuits are competitively priced against similar items.

The cardboard boxes of some of the products can be recycled but the other packaging is more difficult to recycle.
