Peace Tea bags Organic Fairtrade Black Tea - Steenbergs' organic Fairtrade Peace Tea is a Ceylon blended black tea that is ideal for drinking at any time of the day. It is blended using organic Fairtrade tea leaves picked, processed and blended fresh on estate in Sri Lanka.
We found the Peace Tea bags to be a weak tea but very refreshing and palatable. It has no distinctive taste and is better drunk without milk or sugar. The good news is that 10% of the profits go to charitable projects for the environment and poverty. The box and sachets are paper and can be recycled but not made from recycled paper and used tea can be composted.
Brewing tip for Peace Tea bags Organic Fairtrade Black Tea - If using a mug, use one tea bag per mug and add freshly boiled water and leave to infuse for 4 - 5 minutes. Use a warmed tea-pot and put 1 tea bag per person into the pot, add freshly boiled water and leave to infuse for 5 minutes.
