What kind of products can be recycled?

Many everyday products can be recycled including paper, plastic,glass and even clothes and computers. For a more comprehensive list, visit our sitemap.

I have moved house and do not know which of my new bins is for what. How can I find out?

As different areas have different bins, it will be best to contact your local council who can tell you what goes in which bin and when they are collected.

Not all of my recyclable waste is collected from my home. Where can I take it?

Each area has a number of small and large recycling centres and there will usually be collection bins for more common items very local to you. Take a look at our recycling centre page for more information.

I have heard of the WEEE directive but what is it and what does it mean for me?
